While playing around with YUI, I noticed that the reset and fonts CSS files contain several errors. See for yourself:
- Validate: http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.6.0/build/reset/reset-min.css
- Validate: http://yui.yahooapis.com/2.6.0/build/fonts/fonts-min.css
I can’t imagine that the Yahoo! guys were stupid enough to have done this by accident, so I’m really curious as to why they did this. Can anyone out there enlighten me?
I do believe it was intentional. I seem to remember reading something about this over on http://foohack.com – that it’s a hack, but a hack that Y! has deemed ‘okay’. I’m not a CSS super-expert guru, nor a Yahoo, so maybe you should ask twitter:izs.
I had no idea you had a site here.
Probably because all web browsers render pages differently.

I can’t wait until all browsers use WebKit.
