haha, why do people keep asking me for advice on how to study for the rhce ON A POST THAT EXISTS FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF GIVING ADVICE ON HOW TO STUDY FOR THE RHCE? am missing something here? sorry to sound like a jerk. i just don’t understand these questions. =P

Do what I did. Install CentOS on a virtual machine and challenge your friends to break it for you. Then practice getting it running again with the rescue disk. If you don’t have any friends that can help you with this, I’m sure you can find some people on IRC willing to help. ;-)

I am a Storage Admin, and I have worked on linux here and there. I am good at installing services and configuring them on linux. But troubleshooting part I am skeptical about. I am now preparing for RHCE. Any advise please

Hi Harith. That’s kind of a weird question, since the whole point of this post was to outline everything I did to study for the exam. I also linked to the official RHCE pages at redhat.com, which tell you exactly what you need to know for the test and how it’s validated.

First of all , Congrats. for the RHCE
I’m interested in Linux specially redhat products , and now I like to have RHCE “after long study ahead of course” , but I’m confused now .. which study material should I study ? which versions ? which curriculum is validated now to study ?
